The President of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS), Surv. Kofi Obeng Ayirebi and his team paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, at the Church’s General Headquarters in La, Accra, earlier today.
The purpose of the visit was twofold: first, to express the Institution’s profound appreciation to Apostle Nyamekye for honouring their invitation and gracing the recent investiture ceremony of the GhIS with his presence; and secondly, to explore potential avenues for partnership between the Institution and the Church, particularly in areas where their professional services may align with the Church’s operational and developmental goals.
Welcoming the GhIS delegation, Apostle Nyamekye congratulated the newly inducted leadership of the institution and commended them for the strides they continue to make in upholding professional standards within the built environment.
In his remarks, the Chairman emphasized the importance of integrity as a cornerstone of professional practice. He urged the leadership of GhIS to diligently uphold ethical values and transparency in the discharge of their duties, noting that God is deeply interested in every sphere of human endeavor—including professional and institutional conduct.
“Whatever we do as individuals or institutions, we must do it as unto the Lord and to the glory of His name,” Apostle Nyamekye stated, affirming that excellence and godliness are not mutually exclusive, but must go hand in hand in nation-building.
