The Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) took a significant step toward enhancing inter-institutional collaboration by meeting with Hon. Edward Omani Boamoah, Minister of Defence, on May 22, 2025, in Accra. The delegation, comprising the President, Executive Committee, select Governing Council members, and a young surveyor, engaged in productive discussions aimed at leveraging surveyors' expertise for national development.
The meeting focused on several critical areas to strengthen the partnership between GhIS and the Ministry of Defence. The key discussion points included:
